Situated at the entrance of the village of Fusio in Alta Vallemaggia, this late 18th century house was completely renovated in 2013 after having lived several decades uninhabited. The works have respected its original structure and architecture and the valuable wooden elements have been recovered and maintained. Its typical decorated wooden Stübe, soapstone "pigna" and inlaid wardrobes allow the visitor to rediscover the past and enjoy the calm of the present. An ideal place for walks and excursions, casa camilla offers an excellent starting point. Visit to the church of Mario Botta in Mogno, climb to the Cristallina hut or go fishing at the Naret lakes the region offers many alternatives. For lovers of relaxation, the fireplace or the warm pine cone promise pleasant moments of reading even in bad weather.

    “Fusio ist ein lohnenswertes Ziel für Wanderer und das Ferienhaus eine sehr schöne Gelegenheit zumindestens einen kleinen Blick in die Geschichte der Bergdörfer zu erhalten. Der Vermieter sorgt sich sehr um das Wohl seiner Gäste! Positiv: Es war sehr interessant in so einem alten Haus leben zu dürfen. Wir fanden die Kombination von modern (Küche, Bad) und alt (Inneneinrichtung) gelungen.
    Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert und sehr nett. Vielen Dank für die vielen nützlichen Informationen! Negativ: Große Menschen sollten wissen, dass sie sich klein machen müssen, um ins Bad zu gelangen.”

    “Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem ca. 250 Jahre altem Haus das wohl schon einiges erlebt hat. Die Räume sind recht dunkel. Kleine Fenster und dunkles Holz. Aber so war das früher. Wenn man von einem Zimmer ins andere geht ist es besser wenn man den Kopf einziehen. Auch die Einrichtung ist rustikal und passt zu Haus. Das Bad verfügt über eine Fußbodenheizung und ist ansonsten sehr modern. Auch die Küche ist modern eingerichtet. Alles was man zum Kochen benötigt ist vorhanden. Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine gibt es nicht. Wir haben sie nicht besonders vermisst. Traumhafter Ausblick auf die Berge. Ein uriges Haus für den besonderen Geschmack. Uns hat es gefallen. Mal etwas anderes. Der Vermieter war immer sofort per WhatsApp erreichbar.”

    “Eine sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus in einer abgelegenen wunderbaren Bergwelt! Positiv: Ein schönes altes Haus mit viel Charme, sanft saniert, der alte Charakter kommt wunderschön zur Geltung.
