Situated in a quiet hamlet, this tastefully renovated 18th century farmhouse with its wooden beams and stone walls is full of charm. The house is nestled in a well-tended garden with fruit trees and old hedges. Inside, too, the house offers plenty of space for the whole family, with solid oak rafters throughout, vaulted ceilings and exposed brickwork creating a cozy atmosphere by the fireplace.

When you're not enjoying the pool, you can relax on one of the 3 terraces with a delicious glass of local wine. There are several terraces at the front and back of the house, offering you sunny and shady spots where you can admire the beautiful, flowering garden and watch your children play. A personal visit to a leading winery in the region can be organized free of charge and in French or English depending on availability.

From here you can visit some of the best French wineries in the region, such as Monbazillac, Pomerol or St. Emilion. Monségur is also rich in history, don't miss the 13th century market square, the pretty stores, restaurants, cafés and the night market. Don't miss Duras with its magnificent castle and heritage. In summer, enjoy an evening in Castillon to witness the legendary Battle of Castillon, which will take you right back to the Middle Ages.
